We need your service! Consider stepping up for one of these positions.
🔓 Alternate GSR
Supports and assists the GSR. Attends service meetings when the GSR is unavailable. Learns the responsibilities of the GSR role for continuity. Helps communicate service-related information to the group.
🔓 Backup Coffee Maker
Prepares coffee and refreshments before the meeting. Assists the Coffee Maker as needed. Steps in when the primary Coffee Maker is unavailable. Helps with setup, restocking supplies, and cleanup. Supports fellowship and consistency of the meeting environment.
🔓 Bookie
Finds and schedules members to give a 10–15 minute lead for the 12 and 12 meeting. Maintains a list of available lead speakers. Confirms commitments ahead of time. Helps ensure consistent sharing aligned with the meeting format.
🔓 Chair x 2
Opens and closes the meeting according to the approved format. Calls on speakers or readers and manages meeting flow. Helps maintain a respectful, focused atmosphere. Ensures meeting stays on time and aligned with AA principles. Shows up 30 minutes early to set up for the meeting.
🔓 Events Chair
Plans and coordinates fellowship events and special meetings. Works with the group for approval and support. Encourages unity and connection outside regular meetings. Helps organize logistics such as location, timing, and communication.
🔓 Greeter
Welcomes attendees as they arrive. Helps newcomers feel comfortable and included. Answers basic questions and directs people to literature or members. Sets a warm, friendly tone for the meeting.
🔓 Greeter #2
Assists the Greeter in welcoming members and newcomers. Engages with first-time attendees and offers support. Helps maintain an inclusive and welcoming environment. Often serves as an entry-level service position for new Members.
🔓 Literature Chair
Oversees the selection and availability of AA-approved literature. Coordinates with the Treasurer to maintain inventory of 12 and 12/BB. Ensures literature aligns with AA principles and group needs. Helps make recovery resources accessible to newcomers and members.
🔓 Speaker Seeker
Finds and schedules speakers for speaker meetings. Maintains a list of potential speakers. Confirms speakers ahead of time and provides meeting details. Helps ensure a variety of experience, strength, and hope are shared.
